HISTORY
One of Anya Jane’s, owner of The Music Train, favorite childhood memories is dancing outdoors at The Lake Harriet Band shell in Minneapolis, “Families laid out blankets and we ate, socialized and enjoyed the local bands. The music was never just ‘for kids,’ it was simply great music!” As a parent, she missed these opportunities to enjoy music with other families so she set out to make concerts like this available. On October 24th, 2007 The Music Train Family Concert Series was born.
FAMILY CONCERT DETAILS
Live music for the whole family to enjoy together. The local bands and artists showcase: Bluegrass, Rock, Jazz, Country, 80’s, World and more.
Concerts are held the third Saturday of the month Oct-April from *4-6pm (October 17th is 3-5pm) at The Oriental Theater in NW Denver, a unique and family friendly venue. Delicious local eats as well as adult and kids beverages available, for purchase.
