Curriculum
Through songs, stories, rhymes and dance, The Music Train's curriculum explores music concepts such as dynamics, pitch, rhythm, timbre, improvisation, tempo and melody as well as exposure to many styles and genres of music. We support all personalities and learning styles and believe the language of music can best be learned and enjoyed in an experiential, not performance, based setting.
By focusing on whole child development, The Music Train helps build physical, emotional, social and cognitive skills while nurturing creativity and imagination. Each child has the ability to sing in tune and keep accurate rhythm and The Music Train classes provide experiences that lay down the foundation for musical learning and growth. It’s also a great way to make new friends, adults and kids alike. All aboard!
