FAMILY CONCERTS

The FCS was created from the idea that great live music should be available throughout the entire year for families to enjoy together. The Music Train is committed to providing high quality shows at an affordable price.  The local bands and artists hired showcase various styles and genres of music that bridge the gap between children and adult's tastes making it enjoyable for everyone.  Great music is great music no matter what your age! 


DETAILS
Concerts held at The D'Note in Olde Town Arvada. This unique venue offers great food, drink and local art. Concerts are held on the 3rd Saturday of every month, October through April, from 4-6pm. Cost is $7/adult,  $3/child and little ones 12 months and under are free.

HOW IT BEGAN

One of Anya’s favorite childhood memories is dancing outdoors at The Lake Harriet Band shell in Minneapolis. “Families laid out blankets and we ate, socialized and lost ourselves in the great music. The music was never just ‘for kids,’ it was simply great music!” As a parent, she finds pleasure in sharing music and dancing with her two young children. Anya and her family missed the opportunities to enjoy great music together once summer disappeared. So two years ago, she set out to change that and The Music Train Family Concert Series was born.
