HISTORY
One of Anya Jane’s, owner of The Music Train, favorite childhood memories is dancing outdoors at The Lake Harriet Band shell in Minneapolis. “Families laid out blankets and we ate, socialized and enjoyed the local bands. The music was never just ‘for kids,’ it was simply great music!” As a parent, she missed these opportunities to enjoy music with other families so she set out to make concerts like this available. On October 24th, 2008 The Music Train Family Concert Series was born.
FAMILY CONCERT DETAILS
The Music Train is committed to providing high quality shows at an affordable price. The local bands and artists showcase various styles & genres of music that everyone can enjoy and appreciate.
Concerts are held on the first Saturday of every month Oct-May from 4-6pm; the first Saturday at The Walnut Room, Denver & the third Saturday at The D-Note, Olde Town Arvada. These unique & inspiring venue offers great food, drink & local art. $7/adult $3/child FREE for 1 & under
